It’s critical that you patch your software ASAP because if a hacker exploited these particular vulnerabilities they could cause your computer to crash or run malicious code that could take over your system.
If you use the Adobe Reader to handle your .pdf files, please protect your computer and go get that patch and install it as soon as you can!
Everyone have a delightful day!

And I mean SERIOUS competition!
Take a look at DimDim – you can even host a small conference (20 or less people) for free as often as desired and their pricing plans are out of this world reasonable for larger ones. I learned about this on Lee McIntyre’s site (thanks Lee!)
Go check out all the features here: DimDim if you ever wanted to host a webinar but were put off by high fees!
One caveat: at the time of Lee’s posting, they still didn’t have recording capability but it’s in the works. AND – those of you with programming experience can download their open source version and have a blast with it!
You gotta love companies that care about the little guys with smaller wallets!
Enjoy & have fun with DimDim Web Conferencing!

At first I thought that drinking carbonated drinks – referred to as “sodas” in general conversations only harmed the enamel on our teeth. Yes, it eats away the enamel that protects your teeth from cavities and other losses… my son in law is an outstanding and bright dentist in Wichita Kansas and he KNOWS.
But… sodas can also cause a host of other health problems you don’t want… including weight gain!
I just read a fascinating article on Dr. Mercola’s site about the drinking of sodas – even ONE can of soda a day can cause a pound of weight gain a month (besides harming your teeth AND causing hyperkalemia – low potassium) – you can read more here: Drinking-Soda-Can-Paralyze-You
Here’s just PART of the harm caused by drinking diet sodas from Dr. Mercola’s website:
Artificial sweeteners induce a whole set of physiologic and hormonal responses that actually make you gain extra pounds. (Not to mention the fact that artificial sweeteners are more dangerous for your health than high fructose corn syrup in many other ways.)
Liver damage. Consumption of too many soft drinks puts you under increased risk for liver cirrhosis similar to the increased risk faced by chronic alcoholics.
Tooth decay. Soda dissolves tooth enamel and is thought to be responsible for doubling or tripling the incidence of tooth decay. Soda’s acidity is even worse for teeth than the solid sugar found in candy.
Kidney stones and chronic kidney disease (CKD). Colas of all kinds are well known for their high phosphoric acid content, a substance that changes urine in a way that promotes kidney stone formation. Drinking one quart (less than three 12-ounce cans) of soda per week may increase your risk of developing kidney stones by 15 percent.
I’d love to hear your comments about this subject!
Good old vital, pure drinking water – back to you! :) Oh, and not in plastic bottles (that’s yet another subject for maintaining a greener planet and having a lot less toxic plastic in our landfills)
To your better health!
